The best online polling tools
A poll is useful when people can answer it without being taught how, and when the result means what the questioner thinks it means. This list is for anyone who needs a quick, shareable choice from a group.
It looks at the practical details that shape the answer: who can vote, how the question is presented, and whether the result can be inspected rather than merely displayed.

How we judged this
Fixed before anything was ranked
What we look at
- Question and answer choices are clear before a vote is opened
- Audience access and vote limits are stated and configurable
- Supports the answer formats the question needs, including images where offered
- Results show counts or percentages with enough context to interpret them
- Poll data can be exported or deleted by the person who created it
Helps if you have it: A live poll, its documented audience and vote controls, and a documented export or deletion path.
